A Note to New Students from Master Seo

No Pain! No Gain!

To students who have just started Tae Kwon Do Martial Arts, do not expect too much in the beginning. For most beginners this training might feel uncomfortable and may cause some pain with certain movements. The reason for having these symptoms is because you are not used to using certain areas of your body.  The muscles and tendons in our body exist for many reasons, but in many cases due to lack of exercise, bad habits or circumstances life imposes upon us our body begins to deteriorate.  Taekwondo requires us to use every part of our body for balance.  Soon these symptoms will go away once you get used to do it. Until then you will experience stiffness, soreness, discomfort, etc...This is proof of a transformation happening in your body.  A new flexible & agile body will soon be the result of your training.

We will provide a full exercise program to speed up this transition.

If you expect too much in the beginning you will only disappoint yourself.

Each time your belt rank goes up you will notice an improvement in your body's condition.
You will even surprise yourself when you notice that each step is much lighter than before.

We are so proud of your decision.  You have taken the first step in changing your body and courage.
